(as each aquarium is different this makes it hard to provide a time-frame, our testing as showed that aquariums with NO mechanical filtration will use the roll quickly - once settled you will determine how often you need to advance the roll ie. weekly with water change.

Simply wind on a new roll, run the fleece roll around the internal section, replace the filter sock holder and insert the filter basket. this only needs to be removed for cleaning occasinoally saving time as you only need to lift out the fleece holder/guide to change a roll.

We have designed this to not interfere with the aquariums filter sock overflow feature, preventing issues should the fleese clog before you catch it. Giving peace of mind that your not going to have your tank overflow. Check your aquarium user manual/guide for futher details
